SUS Corp expands its factories in Thailand as demand for aluminium extrusion frames rises.
SUS (Thailand) Co. Ltd. – To cope with the future demand for its aluminium extrusion frames and aluminium parts, SUS (Thailand) Co. Ltd. announced today the completion of its warehouse expansion in the North of Thailand.
“Our production of aluminium extrusion frames is growing at over 20% a year”, said Yasuo Ishida, SUS Corp Representative Director and President, “We have just completed the expansion of our warehouse to accommodate the fast growing demand for our aluminium extrusion frames as well as other aluminium products.”
Aluminium has increasingly been used in the construction of buildings and for fittings and furniture. The company has used aluminium extensively in its own factory buildings and warehouse expansion in Lamphun.
“Our customers want eco-friendly products that are strong, light, weather resistant and easily installed,” said Mr. Ishida, “Aluminium has answers to all these. It is 100% reusable, very eco-friendly, beautiful and can be customized to fit the customers’ needs.”
SUS Group, the parent company of SUS (Thailand) Co, has expanded into European, North American and US markets. SUS (Thailand) plans to build 2 more factories in 2014 and 2016 in Lamphun. By 2017, the company plans to complete what it calls “Aluminium Land”, a complex of up to four factories manufacturing different aluminium products from Aluminium frames to accessory parts manufacture and assembly, on the 164 rai of land it has in Lamphun.
Since 2007, SUS (Thailand) Co has invested over 800 million Baht in building two factories and a warehouse in Lamphun.
SUS produces and sells machinery, equipment and unit products for FA (factory automation), furniture, building materials and components to the world market.
